I. Characteristics: Composed of specialty polysiloxanes, emulsifiers, dispersants, and stabilizers; maintains excellent defoaming and foam‑suppressing performance even at low concentrations; exhibits outstanding foam‑inhibiting properties; performs exceptionally well under moderately to highly alkaline conditions; readily disperses in water; demonstrates good compatibility with foaming media; and effectively inhibits microbial growth.
II. Typical Product Data Appearance: White or slightly yellowish milky liquid pH: 6.5–8.5 Solid Content: (15 ± 1.0)% Viscosity (25°C): 80–4,000 mPa·s Emulsion Ionic Type: Weakly Anionic Suitable Diluent: Water at 10–30°C Note: The above data are for reference only and do not constitute technical specifications.
III. Application Areas: Detergents; soy protein; defoaming in high‑temperature vacuum or pressure pulpers used in papermaking; defoaming and foam suppression in strong alkaline refining agents and pretreatment agents in the textile industry; defoaming and foam inhibition in high‑temperature, strongly alkaline chemical cleaning processes, as well as defoaming in high‑temperature, strongly alkaline aqueous systems; metalworking fluids;
IV. How to Use This Defoamer It exhibits excellent defoaming and foam‑suppressing performance and can be added after foam has formed or incorporated into the product as a foam‑suppressing ingredient. Depending on the application, the dosage of the defoamer may range from 10 to 1,000 ppm; the specific addition level should be determined by the customer through testing based on the particular conditions. When used in papermaking pulping, a metering pump can be employed to dispense the defoamer directly upstream of the vacuum or pressure pulper for effective foam control. In chemical cleaning or the textile industry, it may be pre‑added to the formulation as a foam‑suppressing component or applied on‑site. This defoamer can be used undiluted or after dilution. If it can be thoroughly dispersed and homogenized within the foaming system, it may be added directly without dilution. If dilution is required, follow the dilution procedure outlined in the attached instructions. Directly diluting the product with water is not recommended, as this can lead to layering, emulsion breakdown, and other issues that compromise product quality. The company assumes no liability for any adverse consequences arising from direct water dilution or other improper handling or use of the product.
5. Packaging and Storage This defoamer is packaged in 120‑kg plastic drums or 1‑ton containers. Custom packaging can be arranged upon request. Store this defoamer at 10–30°C; keep it away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Do not add acids, alkalis, salts, or other substances to the product. When not in use, seal the container tightly to prevent contamination by harmful microorganisms. If separation occurs after prolonged storage, stir thoroughly; this generally does not affect performance. In the event of freezing, allow the product to thaw completely before use; this will not impair its effectiveness, though stirring is recommended. Store under standard chemical‑storage conditions. After use, ensure the container remains sealed to prevent degradation. Under the recommended storage temperature and in unopened packaging, the shelf life is six months from the date of manufacture.
