What is a non-silicone defoamer?

Non-silicone defoamer, formulated with aldehydes and oleic acid complexes. Off-white with a yellow tinge; non-ionic. Suitable for PCB circuit boards (during development, ink removal, and wastewater stages). Also applicable to aluminum processing, as well as emulsion breaking and foam suppression in various wastewater treatment and industrial water systems, and for demulsification in cooling‑circulation water systems and other water‑treatment units.

　　Non-silicone defoamer, formulated with aldehydes and oleic acid complexes. Off-white with a yellow tinge; non-ionic. Also applicable to aluminum processing, as well as emulsion breaking and foam suppression in various wastewater treatment systems and industrial water systems, and for emulsion breaking in cooling‑circulation water treatment units at power plants.

　　Operating Instructions

　　1. Adjust the dosage according to the specific foam system; the recommended usage range is 0.4‰–5‰.

　　2. Dilute with water or the working solution, stir, or add directly.

　　3. Suitable for aqueous systems below 100°C.

　　4. Please stir thoroughly.

　　Storage and Transportation

　　Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is six months. Transport as general cargo.

Other types of silicone defoamers also frequently experience deactivation; however, I will use silicone gel‑based defoamers as an example to discuss the causes and mechanisms of their deactivation, in the hope that this will be helpful. There are many reasons why silicone‑based defoamers become deactivated.
