IV. Product Introduction
This product is a highly effective, emulsifiable liquid. Defoamer , particularly suitable for low-viscosity coating systems and the polymerization of emulsions.
In pigment-containing systems, XPT‑118 is used as a fast‑emulsifying defoamer. Thanks to its excellent compatibility, it can be added at any stage of paint formulation and dispersed in either aqueous or organic solutions. It can also be incorporated during polymer emulsion synthesis to prevent bubble formation, and when added to polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solutions or during monomer degassing in emulsion polymerization, it delivers outstanding performance.
This product uses environmentally friendly surfactants, is non-toxic and harmless, and does not cause pollution.
V. Instructions for Use
The finished coating is typically formulated at 0.1–0.5%; if necessary, the dosage may be increased to 1%. When high‑speed dispersion of pigments is required, it is recommended to add this additive during the formulation stage, as it can enhance defoaming performance.
