IV. How to Use Defoamer It exhibits excellent defoaming and foam‑suppressing performance and can be added after foam has formed or incorporated into the formulation as a foam‑suppressing ingredient. Depending on the specific application, the recommended dosage ranges from 10 to 1,000 ppm; the exact amount should be determined through testing based on the customer’s particular conditions. The defoamer may be used undiluted or after dilution. If it can be thoroughly dispersed and homogenized in the foaming system, it may be added directly without dilution. When dilution is required, follow the dilution procedure outlined in the attached instructions. Diluting the product directly with water is not recommended, as this can lead to layering, emulsion breakdown, and other issues that compromise product quality. Our company assumes no liability for any adverse consequences arising from direct water dilution or other improper processing or application methods.
5. Packaging and Storage This product is packaged in 25 kg, 50 kg, or 200 kg plastic drums. Custom packaging can be arranged upon request. Store at 10–30°C; keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Do not add acids, alkalis, salts, or other substances to this product. When not in use, seal the container tightly to prevent contamination by harmful microorganisms. If separation occurs after prolonged storage, stir thoroughly; this generally does not affect performance. At temperatures below 0°C, this product may freeze. If freezing occurs, allow it to thaw completely before use; this will not impair its effectiveness, though stirring is recommended. Store under standard chemical‑storage conditions. After use, ensure the container is tightly sealed to prevent degradation. Under the recommended storage conditions and with the container unopened, the shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture.
