Features: This product is a mineral-oil-based defoamer that maintains excellent foam‑suppressing performance even at low concentrations. It is particularly well suited for eliminating foam in styrene‑acrylic, pure acrylic, ethylene‑propylene, polyvinyl acetate, styrene‑butadiene latexes, as well as natural latex, with stable performance throughout the storage period.

  Technical Indicators:

Appearance: Yellow to light brown, translucent oily liquid

  Content: 100%

Stability (2000 rpm/20 min): No layering, no sedimentation (long-term standing may result in stratification)

  pH: 5.0–7.0

Viscosity (mPa·s, 25°C): After stirring, it can disperse well in the materials used.

Product Overview: This product is a composite defoamer. Thanks to its formulation containing multiple high‑quality defoaming ingredients, it boasts a broad range of applications. It is particularly effective for eliminating foam in styrene‑acrylic, pure acrylic, ethylene‑propylene, polyvinyl acetate, and styrene‑butadiene latexes, as well as in oil‑based inks, oil‑based coatings, petrochemicals, lubricants, refining processes, tar, cutting oils, and asphalt. It offers rapid defoaming, fast drying, low dosage requirements, and excellent auxiliary film‑forming properties, while avoiding clogging of ultrafiltration membranes and preventing undesirable defects such as fish‑eyes and pinholes.

Instructions for use: The XP-205 series defoamer is composed of multiple ingredients; during storage, it may separate into layers or develop a slight sediment, which is perfectly normal. We recommend stirring gently before use—this will not affect the product’s performance.

This series of defoamers must not be diluted with water; they can be added directly to the foaming medium. Dilution with water may cause phase separation, reducing the defoaming performance and ultimately increasing the cost of use.

This product exhibits strong antifoaming performance; therefore, it can be incorporated into formulations as an antifoaming ingredient. The recommended addition level is 0.1–0.5% of the total formulation, with the optimal dosage to be determined by users through on-site testing.

  Packaging, Storage, and Transportation:

This product is packaged in 25 kg or 50 kg plastic drums, or in 200 kg steel drums with an internal plastic lining; custom packaging is also available upon request. Store in a cool, dry place; do not expose to direct sunlight or heat sources. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
