Instructions for Use
This defoamer exhibits excellent defoaming and foam‑suppressing performance and can be added after foam has formed or incorporated into the product as a foam‑suppressing ingredient. Depending on the specific application, the dosage ranges from 10 to 1,000 ppm; the optimal concentration should be determined through testing by the customer based on the particular conditions. When used in paper‑making pulping, the defoamer can be dosed via a metering pump directly upstream of the vacuum or pressure pulper for effective foam control, or it may be added on‑site.
This defoaming agent can be used directly or after dilution. If it can be thoroughly mixed and dispersed in the foaming system, it may be added without dilution. If dilution is required, follow the dilution procedure outlined in the attached instructions. Diluting the product directly with water is not recommended, as this can lead to layering and emulsion breakdown, thereby compromising product quality. Our company assumes no liability for any consequences arising from direct water dilution or other improper processing or use of the product.
Precautions
This defoamer is packaged in 120-kg plastic drums or 1-ton containers. Custom packaging can be arranged upon request.
This defoamer should be stored in a cool, dry place; do not expose it to heat sources or direct sunlight. Do not add acids, alkalis, salts, or other substances to this product. When not in use, keep the container tightly sealed to prevent contamination by harmful bacteria. If separation occurs after prolonged storage, stir thoroughly; this generally does not affect performance. This product may freeze below 0°C; if freezing occurs, thaw it completely before use—this will not impair its effectiveness. Stir well prior to application.
Store according to standard chemical storage practices. After use, ensure the container is tightly sealed to prevent degradation.
Under the recommended storage conditions and in unopened packaging, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
