  Product Attributes

This product is a food-grade defoamer specially formulated for the fermentation industry.

  Physical properties

Appearance: Colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid

  Viscosity: 500–1000 mPa·s

  Product Overview

This product is a specialized defoamer designed specifically for the fermentation industry, characterized by rapid defoaming, prolonged foam suppression, no impact on potency, and non-toxicity. When used at the appropriate dosage, it can effectively meet foam‑control requirements throughout the entire fermentation cycle. It is widely employed in various antibiotic fermentation processes, including erythromycin, spiramycin, monosodium glutamate, cyclamate, avermectin, gentamicin, penicillin, lysine, yeast, and others, and is also extensively utilized in veterinary‑drug processing and downstream extraction operations.

  Instructions for Use

It can be added to the base formulation or incorporated during the later stages of fermentation as a supplementary ingredient. The recommended dosage varies depending on the fermentation cycle length and the foaming characteristics of the raw and auxiliary materials, with an approximate range of 1–2.5‰. Practical experience has demonstrated that, for certain specialized fermentation processes, even at a maximum usage level of 1%, the strain remains safe and viable.

  Packaging, Storage, and Transportation

This product is packaged in 50 kg or 200 kg plastic drums, or in 1,000 kg IBCs; the shelf life is one year.
